Moore Winners this Winter
The Moore family have begun a bit of a monopoly of the racing at the Esher track in recent meetings and this card was no different with winners for Jamie Gary and Joshua. The most impressive of these was no doubt Anthony who jumped the last like he had jumped in at the silver ring.
The card was opened with an impressive win by the french import Fingertips, ridden by retained jockey Daryl Jacob. He set out to make every yard and although pressed turning in by the long odds on favourite Polarisation his jumping was far more fluent and a swift leap at the second last flight saw him pull four lengths clear. Less than impressive himself at the last he stayed on well to take the spoils.
The big race on the card saw an impressive winner in Label Des Obeaux trained by the inform Alan King and ridden by stable jockey Wayne Hutchinson he was the horse with the sharpest turn of foot as the sprint developed between the last two flights before keeping on powerfully to hold off the promising Captain Chaos.
